CEO Position Paper on its Policy Priorities

The ongoing economic stagnation in the EU, combined with geopolitical uncertainty from the war in Ukraine and protectionist U.S. trade policies, is creating widespread insecurity. This climate hampers business activity, delays investments, and puts Europe’s industrial competitiveness at risk.
A strong and coordinated EU response is urgently needed. The Union must defend its industries from unfair external pressures and reduce internal burdens such as overregulation.
