The Board informsDebrief CEO Steering Group on 19 June
The CEO Steering Group EU Legislation gathered on 19 June to review the association's public affairs activities and discuss the evolving EU regulatory landscape affecting the European Tool Industry.
Members received an overview of CEO's advocacy activities on the first half of 2026 and exchanged views on upcoming strategic legislative initiatives, including potential future policy priorities for the association.
As part of the meeting, members participated in an indicative survey to identify the most relevant EU policy files for the European Tool Industry. The results will serve as the basis for defining CEO's Public Affairs priorities for 2026/2027.
The Steering Group also re-elected Vera Bökenbrink (Stahlwille) as Chair and Dr Ulrich Bourgund (Hilti) as Vice Chair for the 2026–2028 term, reaffirming the members' confidence in the current leadership and ensuring continuity in CEO's legislative and advocacy work.
