CEO Statement on war in Ukraine

The European Tool Committee (CEO) and its members are dismayed by the illegal Russian attack on Ukraine and call for an immediate end to the hostilities.

We fully support the current efforts of the European Union, Great Britain and the United States to persuade the Russian President to withdraw from Ukraine through tough economic sanctions and in particular to protect the civilian population from further damage.

Russia has been a long-standing economic partner of European manufacturers of hand tools. An immediate end to military aggression is also essential within the framework of this partnership. The CEO therefore expressly welcomes the fact that members are examining the possibilities of suspending trade with Russian customers on an individual basis.
