EUDRRecap : CEO x FSC Information Session

In light of the recent introduction of the new EUDR proposal, which is due to come into force on 30 December 2025, the European Commission has proposed targeted simplifications, including streamlined procedures for SMEs and downstream operators, to ensure a workable rollout. Nevertheless, companies will still need to demonstrate due diligence and traceability throughout their supply chains.

FSC certification can help companies achieve compliance. Through its established certification systems and digital traceability tools, the FSC helps companies to manage sourcing risks, align their documentation with the requirements of the EUDR and prepare for their upcoming reporting duties. However, certification alone does not absolve comapnies of their EUDR obligations — they remain responsible for maintaining transparent and verifiable supply chains.
